Neera is a Yoga Alliance (EYRT 500) teacher from Australia who has taught in Australia and internationally since 1996. Most recently she was resident International Guest Teacher at the renowned Yoga You Studio in Palma de Mallorca, and is currently leading workshops and trainings throughout Europe. After apprenticing in Ashtanga Yoga in 1996, Neera’s passion for the deeper dimensions of the practise led her to spend a year in India with her Guru, Jnana Yoga Master HWL Poonja (Papaji), who gave her the name Neera. Papaji’s radical teachings promote a direct focus on Self that Neera endeavours to bring to her work. Neera has worked extensively on Teacher Training programs, including with Lance Schuler of Inspya Yoga, and with a broad range of students, from professional skiers in Switzerland to Ashtanga Yoga students in India.
